This is an introductory course in the operation of modern air conditioning systems. This course instructs the student in system operation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of split systems and package air conditioning systems. Topics covered include refrigeration theory, system components, refrigerants, specialized tools, charging, and refrigerant recovery.
