Property Maintenance & Career Development
Class 9 • 5 Weeks
This class is part of our 10½ month HVAC training program. This HVAC school course covers property management fundamentals of residential and light commercial buildings: basic plumbing, residential electrical, major appliance repair and select exterior maintenance. Topics include replacement and repair of water heaters, faucets, toilets, basic electrical wiring, and the minor repair of washers, dryers, dishwashers, and garbage disposals. What you’ll learn in this class will perfectly complement the other in-depth courses we offer in our HVAC program. Once you graduate, you’ll have the requisite knowledge and experience to start your HVAC career. Northwestern Tech also offers job placement assistance for every graduate.
An HVAC school course to aid the graduating student’s career search following the completion of Northwestern Tech’s HVAC program. Topics include introduction to computers, resume creation, interviewing, career search techniques, using the internet to find opportunities and finally budgeting and loan/credit management.
